Systems Support Engineer required for an organisation with their Headquarters in London (West End). The successful applicant will provide 1st/2nd and occasional 3rd line support to over 300 users across 15 UK sites. Applicants will be prepared to provide 1st line support to users over the phone and deskside support. It will also be necessary for the individual to perform some Server administration and troubleshooting in the absence of the Server Engineer. Essential skills: MS Office 2000 (PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), Windows 2000/2003, Active Directory (user account administration), (MCSE a bonus not essential) Windows XP, and Exchange 2000/2003. They are currently seeking a Project Manager for a major transport infrastructure reconstruction project in Afghanistan. This will be on a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension. They are currently seeking a Site Construction Manager to manage various road construction projects in Afghanistan. This will be on a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension. The successful candidate will serve as the Resident Engineer on an assigned project, typically a large road construction project. You will serve as the senior company employee at the project site and represent the company at site meetings with the construction contractor, client representatives, local government and tribal leaders, and others as the situation requires. You will act in a professional manner at all times representing our client , USAID and the project team at a high standard of excellence in technical knowledge, leadership, and business ethics. You will supervise the operations and activities of a construction contractor and ensure the contract requirements of quality, time and cost are met ensuring the quality and management reporting requirements are met for daily, monthly and incident reports.
